SPM green and orange gate shafts of any diameter and length are NOT approved for competition at any level. The ONLY exception to this is hi-vis orange which is used for DH/SG events at the FIS level and above and in GS when the Jury deems the color is appropriate or needed to highlight terrain that could be problematic for the athlete safety.
